Mark Your Calendars: Monday, 18 August is Dutch Day at Interspeech 2025!

Get ready for a truly Dutch-style welcome to kick off your Interspeech experience! As you arrive at the iconic Ahoy venue, you’ll be greeted by the lively sounds of a street organ—and not just any organ, a big one—playing merrily right outside the entrance. Pro tip: Don’t forget to bring a bit of loose change for the authentic Dutch organ grinder. It’s all part of the charm! Once inside, the Dutch celebration continues. Our friendly hosts—dressed in vibrant orange and Delft Blue—will be there to welcome you with a smile and hand you the much-loved tulip pens (yes, they're making a comeback!)

During the Welcome Reception in the Exhibition Hall, we invite you to step into the world of Dutch art and tradition.

Capture a fun memory dressed in classic Dutch attire (don’t worry, we don’t wear this every day) in front of a stunning floral arch.

Keep an eye out for familiar faces—The Girl with a Pearl Earring and The Milkmaid may just make an appearance, adding a touch of Vermeer magic to the scene.

Student Reception 2025 – Tuesday 19 August

Beach Edition!

This year we're going all out: the student reception will take place on the beautiful beach of Hoek van Holland, just 30 kilometers from Rotterdam!

No need to worry about transport – we’ll take you by bus to Beachclub Royal, the perfect venue for an unforgettable evening, and there are shuttle busses back to the venue and Rotterdam Central Station.

Picture this: your feet in the sand, a drink in your hand, a lively DJ in the background, and a varied barbecue with something for everyone – of course, we’ll cater to all dietary preferences.

Let’s hope for sunshine – we’ll take care of the rest.

Don't forget to sign up during your registration. Already registered? No problem, you can simply update your registration by adding the student reception.

The student reception is included in your registration but we would like to know how much food we need to order.

Reviewer Reception - By Invitation Only - Tuesday 19 August 2025

To thank our reviewers for their incredible work in reviewing and assessing over 2.500 papers they are invited for a, by invitation only, reception at Beach Club One in Hoek van Holland.

Expect a generous reception with tasty food and drinks, your feet in the sand, a beautiful beach setting, and a chance to catch up with your peers in a relaxed atmosphere.

Transport Buses will depart from Ahoy at 18:30 to Beachclub One in Hoek van Holland.

Return shuttle buses will be available from the venue to both Ahoy and Rotterdam Central Station.

Interspeech would not be Interspeech without a magnificent party!

We have put together a fantastic party for you at the Stadshaven Brewery in Rotterdam (including transportation).

The Stadshaven Brewery is famous for its great venue, a very tasty selection of local craft beer, and not to forget a special prize-winning beer cocktail for which they designed their own beer-cocktail-mixing system!

Would you like to tap your own beer? That’s also possible - check out the unique beer tables where you can tap your own fresh pour!

Not a beer fan? No worries! We’ve got you covered with a wide variety of non-alcoholic and wine options.

Hungry? Outside, you’ll find a diverse lineup of food trucks offering delicious options for meat lovers, fish enthusiasts, vegetarians, and vegans alike. We’re mindful of your dietary needs, though please note we cannot provide halal or kosher meals.

And of course there will be ample opportunity for dancing! Get ready to enjoy Acoustic Jukebox, a live band that truly lives up to their name—they’ll play almost any song on request. Feeling bold? Grab the mic and sing along with them!

Prefer a quieter vibe? We’ve also set aside a relaxed space for catching up and conversation.

Tickets are €150 for regular delegates and €75 for students.

Your ticket includes all food, drinks, and convenient bus transportation to the brewery.
